Channelling modes

There is no single ‘right’ form of channelling, it’s a personal experience unique to the individual and their make-up, and as the connection with the well of inspiration strengthens it can change in nature. Being in the flow, or zone, has inspired many musicians, artists and performers who just ‘go with the flow’. Automatic writing or stream of consciousness has produced inspired poetry while spontaneous ‘knowing’ can give flashes of clarity and insight. Perhaps more dramatic are trance medium channellings where the channeller enters a deep altered state of consciousness and allows an energy to speak through them, while others remain conscious throughout. The documented and online accounts are openly available, but even so discovering it was still a shock to me. Unpacking a channelling can take many forms, not always immediate (I’ve had dreams following a channelling session which seem to explain the process), invariably creative and often unexpected; this website and the photographs are the result of channelled inspiration.
